Rainbow Birthday Party

This weekend was Clementine's Rainbow Birthday Party and we had so much fun! Clementine got this adorable rainbow tutu from a former teaching friend of mine who now makes these! Adorbs! (Her shirt is a plain tee that I ironed on a rainbow decal.) Clem absolutely loved this tutu and wore it from breakfast to bedtime!
There was a handful of kids here at the party, running all over the house, playing in the toy room, singing, chirping and playing guitar. Her buddies tried to help her open all those presents. It started like this...
But pandemonium started to break loose once toys started coming out. It got a little chaotic for a few.
Then it was time for birthday cake and ice cream. We sang to our flush faced girl and she made a birthday wish. This was no ordinary birthday cake; it was a RAINBOW birthday cake! (Thanks pinterest!) And this Rainbow birthday cake was smothered in about 3 pounds of frosting (Thanks Sissy!) to even out the sliding 6 layers that refused to stay in place.
Cam and I wanted to wait until all the dust settled to give Clem her present from us. So on Sunday afternoon we gave her her very first dollhouse! She and Ya-ya put all the pieces together.
And she played with it for hours!
